Positive Carry (ex Rasselas) is a custom superyacht built and launched in 2005 by Feadship. She is 62 meters long. It is reported that she may have had a name change again to NEW HAMPSHIRE.
This yacht’s name was a reference to the financial term “positive carry” in which a strategy of holding two offsetting positions, one of which creates an incoming cashflow that is greater than the obligations of the other. Basically, take out a loan to buy a business or a piece of real estate and hope the income covers the spread and is in the plus column.
One can safely assume that the new name.. NEW HAMPSHIRE has something to do with the famed US state.
